What to Bring

Preparing for your first ski season is exciting, BUT you do need to be prepared.

Ski towns are notoriously expensive, think paying double what you normally would. Jindabyne, Thredbo and Perisher are no exception.

The key message - bring what you can or order it ahead of time to be delivered.

The Essentials

Medications

If you have essential medication that you need we highly recommend that you stock up ahead of time.

There are pharmacies in Jindabyne, Thredo and Perisher but they are small and expensive.

Bedding

Bring it with you, order it to be delivered or look for second hand items on Facebook Marketplace.

There is an Op-Shop in Jindabyne that sometimes has bedding up for grabs, but there is no guarentee.

Mitre 10 is also located in Jindabyne but as with everything else here - its expensive.
