Let's be honest, ski seasons are more than time spent sliding down snowy mountains... snow sports and partying go hand-in-hand. Aprés (french for after) ski is one of the best parts - think dancing on tables in ski boots and retro onesies. Here we give you the low down on the best parties in the area, including weekly events and gigs.

We all have a favourite resort we love to ride, but there is absolutely no denying that when it comes to Aprés Thredo has it down pat.
Think fireworks, confetti cannons, retro ski gear and a heap of big name acts - mostly for FREE.

If you aren't living in Thredbo but want to join the party make sure that you plan ahead. The team at Thredbo often put on buses for their biggest events, but make sure you book in advance as they book up quick.
The alternative is to drive up and back, make sure you have a designated driver - the road is long and windy, there are animals and often ice on the road. Don't be a dick and drink drive, make sure you and your mates get home safe.

Ahhh The Banjo aka The Banjo Paterson Inn...
Its HIGHLY unlikely you'll meet any local in town who doesn't have a story (or two, three, four or more) about a night they had at The Banjo.
Wednesday nights are the legendary Locals' Night at The Banjo, they are the biggest night of the week by far... and there is a reason why they are legendary. Live music / DJs, drink deals and dancing... get around it.
